QBE, the business insurance specialist, announces the appointment of Constanza Gállegos as Head of Distribution for Continental Europe.
Tasked with driving the expansion of QBE’s property, casualty and specialist lines portfolio, Constanza will report to Chris Wallace, Executive Director of Continental Europe and will be based in London.
Constanza has been General Manager for QBE’s Spanish operation for the past eight years, a role in which she successfully led the profitable growth of the business in its core underwriting lines. Constanza will take up her new role in September and will continue to manage the Spanish operation in parallel until her replacement is announced towards the end of the year.
Chris Wallace, Executive Director of Continental Europe at QBE commented “Constanza’s success at the helm of our Spanish operation makes her the right choice to lead our European distribution practice where she will focus on strengthening the service we provide our customers and broker partners and making our offering consistently high end across the territory”
